Out of darkness ... into light
Isaiah 49:9a

In addition to volunteer opportunities with any of the organizations we co-labor with, Free Inside Ministries has several opportunities for you to participate as a volunteer.

Prison Visitation – Jesus said in Matthew 25:36 "I was naked, and you gave me clothing. I was sick, and you cared for me. I was in prison, and you visited me."

What is Jesus Christ implying in this statement? Only that we are capable to provide simple services like these to others in His name. To give a little of our own comfort, time and resources to do unto others, not for the sake of the prisoner per say, but to serve one another as though we were serving our King.

Jesus confirms this when he says in Matthew 25:40 And the King will tell them, "I assure you, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to me!"

Pen Pal Program – many inmates have no one in the "free world" to communicate with. Often times, they have burnt all the bridges they have crossed and even their family wants nothing to do with them. By being a pen pal, you can express the love of Jesus Christ and encourage inmates in their relationship with God. Free Inside Ministries offers training and a secure way to communicate with inmates so you need not compromise your safety in any way.

Presidents Advisory CouncilFree Inside Ministries is seeking conscientious Christians to serve as advisors to the President. The Council's primary roles are to keep the President accountable and raise support for the ministry.

Support Services Team – Volunteers answer our phone, conduct research, provide training, effect coordination, maintain our website, and perform a myriad of other tasks that enable us to optimize our operating budget and provide an environment where service oriented Christians can glorify God by giving of their time, talents, and treasures in honor of Matthew 25:31-40 and Hebrews 13:3.
